Publishes a combined programme of meetings covering all member societies.

Sponsors a Spring Stamp Day and Autumn Rally.

Organises county level competitions.

Organises philatelic workshops.

Publicises the events of member societies.

Maintains a stock of display frames for use by member societies.

Provides assistance to set up new societies in and around the county of Essex.

Maintains registers of philatelic speakers and judges.

Maintains a Roll of Honour to record national and international awards achieved by collectors in Essex.
